Life Peerage for Former Deputy Secretary General of the Labour Party

Mr Christopher John Lennie has been granted the title of Baron Lennie, of Longsands in the County of Tyne and Wear. Under the Life Peerage Act 1958 and will sit in the House of Lords for Labour.
