New King of Denmark

On the 14th January 2024 Queen Margrethe II abdicated after fifty two years on the throne.The Queen signed the declaration of her abdication at Christiansborg Palace.

Her son Crown Prince Frederik assumed the throne as His Majesty King Frederik X. Crown Princess Mary is now styled Queen of Denmark and Prince Christian is now Crown Prince of Denmark. The former Queen will now be styled Her Majesty Queen Margrethe.

A Baby boy for Prince Félix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg

On the 7th January 2024 Princess Claire of Luxembourg gave birth to a baby boy. His name is His Royal Highness Prince Balthasar Felix Karl of Nassau. Prince Balthasar is currently 7th in line to the Luxembourg throne.

The Count and Countess of Paris have a baby Boy

The Count and Countess of Paris have announced the birth of their sixth child, a boy born on the 31st December 2023. The couple have named him Prince Alphonse Charles François Marie d'Orléans.

Prince Jean, Count of Paris is Head of the House of Orléans and claimant to the defunct Throne of France, Inheriting the role from his father in 2019.The couple married in 2009 and now have three boys and three girls.
